Optic DAS allows wireless signals travel long distances with minimum loss and latency to in-buildings, roads, rail tunnels and large public venues. DAS with various architecture can be found. A typical optical DAS consists of master units, optical fibers, remote units, RF coaxial cables and DAS components and antennas.

EODAB series Optic Solutions for RF System Engineers

Excelwave provides stand-alone RF optic relays which offers RF system engineers the maximum flexibility to configure their own system solutions for specific number of networks and link budgets, with standard RF components that are available on the market. Please contact sales@excelwavetechnologies.com for custom passive as well as active RF interface solutions.

Expandable Optic DAS

  • Expandable for large scale DAS systems
  • Flexible system configuration with star, daisy chain and hybrid network topologies
  • Accommondate 2G, 3G and 4G multiple networks in one system
  • Support SISO, MISO and MIMO systems

EODADB series optic DAS consists of one master unit and up to 4 remote units, extends 3G, 4G and 5G cellular network signals in the range of 617-2700MHz over 15Km by working with optic fibers, RF coaxial cables, and optional DAS components, antennas and RF repeaters in a DAS system.

  • Broad band operation, plug and play
  • Single optic fiber connection between master and remote unit
  • Status and alarm LED indicators
  • Alternative output power and gain options available upon request
  • Small size, install and blend into environment easily
  • One master unit supports up to 4 remote units simultaneously
  • An additional RF repeater (BDA) can be used with each MU and RU as needed to meet system requirements
